I drew this picture today at school because my mom signed me up for the Holiday Animals Art class.  I drew two more pictures, but in this raccoons’ picture, the raccoons went into the house from the roof when the kids were sleeping to steal the Christmas decorations.

They were running with it. One of them had a star, one had a Christmas tree, one had the Christmas string, and one of the stole the candy cane.

The instructor at my school showed some kids and me how to draw the picture. We also drew two other pictures.

Samuel Jacobs Speaks at L Magazine Launch and Award

November 5, 2018 by Sam Jacobs

Samuel Jacob’s Speech below

Good evening ladies and gentlemen,

I will like to thank everyone who has supported me by buying my book, and cheering me on. You are all very impactful.

I will like to thank my mom for helping me, and the illustrator who was willing to illustrate the book to get it published.

I made this book because I want to inspire other people, and tell them that, “You can do anything, if you put your mind to it.”

I am grateful to my teachers from Headstart and Lincoln Elementary School for the Arts for giving me a foundation that I will be building upon in my new school at the Washington Campus of Anoka Middle School for the Arts.

I will like to give a special shout out to grandpa Jim Brandner who has helped me as a male role model. He enrolled me in Cub Scout and helped me successfully transition to Boys Scouts. With his help, I have won the pinewood derby race in the first and second places in the past two years.

I will like to present him with the cover of my book in a frame.

Thank you grandpa Jim, and thank you everyone for listening.

God bless you.

Releasing My First Book – Samspiration!

July 19, 2018 by Sam Jacobs

I am happy to inform you of my upcoming book release. My first book, Samspiration will be out on Amazon and retail stores this summer.
Samspiration is a collection of some of my artwork from school and at home.

My mum helped me to hire an illustrator who turned the artworks and some of my pictures into cartoon.

I hope that Sampsiration will be an inspiration to other kids out there.

I already received some reviews. Read some of them below.

Samspiration is a book that shows artwork from the different culture, personality, and lifestyle. The book explained pictorially, the imaginative power of young mind and the creative thinking of a little fella.

It is simple to understand and the originality of the content is simply amazing, relaxing and interesting. The artwork is simply multicultural which is good because it shows the diversity in human nature.

I went through the book and I thought it will be an inspiration to kids and even adults. The artwork made me think, I can create anything I want as long as I can imagine it. The book will definitely help kids see what they are capable of doing and also make them contribute positively to their environment because they will want others to read and see their work and style.

– Abolaji Ogunmola, PEI, Canada

In Samspiration, your child is set to be inspired by the creative mind of young Samuel who makes big-little things come alive through his paintings. Samspiration serves as a resource for parents as well in developing the gifts and talent of their young ones.

– Monica Habia, Program Director for the Office for Diversity and Inclusion, St. Thomas University, MN

I am very inspired by the creative expressions of the young artist, Samuel Jacobs.  I have been a supporter of Sam’s artwork for several years.  He is very gifted with various art techniques.  It’s hard to believe that he is as young as he is because the art skills are that of an older child.  While I admire all of Sam’s artwork, one of my favorite pieces is the pop art hamburger. The beautiful collection contained within the pages of Samspiration is just a tidbit of what Sam is capable of doing. He will go far as an artist and a creative person who is truly inspired by God.  I look forward to seeing more from this amazing artist.

– Yvette R. Toko, Teacher, Eden Prairie School District, MN

THIS IS A MASTERPIECE
SamsPiration is a coined word from the name of the author Samuel and the word inspiration.
It captures the adventures, first international travel experience and the artistic talent innate in the young author.
I call this a masterpiece from an eleven year old.
– Adegbiyi Victoria Kehinde, Teacher, Literature in English, Baptist High School, Makurdi, Nigeria

You can pre-order a copy via Kindle store.

Rides at the Mall of America

I went on a fun ride. It goes up and down for a little bit. Then, it stops at the top. A few seconds later it drops. That’s the end of that ride.
I went an orange Pepsi ride. It was a rollercoaster that takes you around Mall of America. I went on a Ninja turtle ride and I saw a lady going flipping around. Then, I went on bumper car ride and bumped a lot of people’s cars.
I went on a skateboard that goes super high up in the air and spins you in the chair.
